Whispers and Cries

Concealed behind pain,
A hopeful soul bleeds.
Days long forgotten,
Creep upon me.

Lust turned to want, turned to love,
The depth of my soul weeps.
Connected by a hundred stars,
Two hearts slowly bleed.

My mind slowly pales,
Dreams of silent cries.
Seeking to break the chains,
My whole wants to try.

Your pain is mine,
Behind masquerading fears.
Loneliness ever lures,
Stranded by the hold of tears.

The soul in our eyes,
Has the voices of a choir.
The heavens can wraith,
You just have to light the fire.

Empty Conversation

Cool breeze soothing the nerves
Playful laughter of children
The smell of wildflowers across the water
I see your smile light up the room
Like that of a lit fountain in a lake
Your chuckles make fitting for a care free moment
No rushing, but even paced
The sun highlights your cheeks
Like melting of ice off a facade
Showing the true beauty beneath
Sometimes it feels like
Paradise has failed
The sun has set and smiles have faded
To reach out
To look out
The fear of
Talking to myself
I usually loose
My reflection has no answers
The rustling of leaves
The rush of the water
Natures steps keep in tow
Rays of light shinning through
Almost as if magical
Damp rocks, smell of serenity
Hand in hand up to the top
False securities as we fall
Cotton candy and fries
Drift along the wind
Bells and whistles predict the win
Kids games but make you feel good
Top row prize like I knew I could
Turn to hand it away
No one is there
Emptiness ensues
Music playing low
Drifting on the wind
Smell of the outdoors
Peaceful and quiet
Time to think
Time to close my eyes and see
See what it is
What life is to me

Unheard Thoughts

Sour winds whisper,
Curdling senses they touch.
Hypocrisy at attention,
Your venom is too much.
In the lives of others,
Never wrong always right.
Fingers on a chalkboard,
Night after night.
Words go unspoken,
Thoughts are unheard.
When you look in the mirror,
Do you see your birth?

Halls of Kings

Whispers of lost voices,
Carry tomes of emptiness.
Valley of Shadows,
Watched over by eternal wings.

Vapors of death,
Trail slowly behind.
Eyes of dust follow,
Bringing forth rage  of chill.

Walking the halls of kings,
Sanctum hovel of hero's .
Ride forth on stones of blood,
Giants of life on ruined vales.

Melted Emotions

Let your life be like a burning candle.
Your false sense of humility glows.
Your wanting and caring flickers.
And in the end,  your self emotions implode and melt.
Then you become a pile of clumped wax,
That you once thought you adored.
As its one time beauty gave hope and inspiration,  as well as tranquility.
But no more.  As no more you shall be.
